MBSA is a volunteer-run organisation, and everything we do is powered by the generosity of our members. All committee roles are up for re-election at the AGM. In 2026, we are especially seeking expressions of interest for the following roles: President Fundraising Coordinator Marketing & Communications Coordinator Co-Treasurer If you’re curious about getting involved, we’d love to chat! Multiple Birth Awareness Week Community Catch-Up Connected. Supported. Stronger. Our vision is to see multiple birth parents feel strong, confident and resilient — connected with their community and supported every step of the way. As part of Multiple Birth Awareness Week (15–22 March 2026), we invite you to join us in celebrating our incredible multiples community and the stories that connect us. This year’s theme, Connected. Supported. Stronger., reflects the power of coming together and supporting one another through the unique journey of raising multiples. 📅 Saturday 21 March 2026 🕙 10:00am – 1:00pm 📍 Café Bonython, Bonython Park, Port Road, Adelaide SA 5000 This relaxed, family-friendly event is a chance for parents and caregivers of twins, triplets and higher-order multiples to connect, share experiences, and enjoy some time together while the kids play. The venue features a playground, and we’ll be providing: ☕ Free coffee for parents and caregivers 🍎 Fruit and ice blocks for the kids 🐰 A special visit from the Easter Bunny 📚 A gift to go home with Whether you’re new to the multiples community or a familiar face, we’d love you to come along, connect with others who truly understand, and help us celebrate the strength of our community.

✨ Join Us for Our February Multi Meet! ✨ Our MBSA Multi Meets are free, relaxed catch-ups designed to bring parents and caregivers of multiples together. It’s a chance to connect, share stories, and enjoy some social time while the kids play. Our friendly committee members will also be there—always up for a chat and happy to share a few of our own “multiple life” adventures 💜 📅 Date: Sunday, 22 February 2026 🕙 Time: 10:00am – 12:30pm 📍 Location: Melba’s Chocolate Factory, 22 Henry St, Woodside SA 5244 What to expect: A large space to mingle while the kids run around and play ☕ Free coffee Plenty of distractions for the kids so Mum (or Dad!) can sneak off for a cheeky chocolate treat 🍫 Friends are very welcome! 👉 Non-member tickets are $15 per family group. There’s also the option to purchase additional food from the venue’s restaurant if you’d like to stay on for lunch and keep the conversations going. 🚗 Plenty of parking available, and the venue is pram-friendly. ✨ Join Us for Our October Multi-Meet! ✨ Our MBSA Multi-Meets are free, casual catch-ups designed to help parents and caregivers of multiples connect, share stories, and enjoy time together while the kids play. Committee members will be there too—always happy for a chat and to share a few of our own “multiple” adventures! 💜 📅 Date: Sunday, 12 October 2025 🕙 Time: 10:00am – 12:30pm 📍 Location: Function Room, Para Hills Community Club The function room offers a large space for families to mingle, plus the venue has a playground for the kids to enjoy PLUS a coffee or drink for parents to "relax" with. Friends are welcome, however non-member tickets are charged at $15 per family group. 👧✨ Special Feature – Daddy-Daughter Haircare Class ✨👧 Running alongside the meet, this fun workshop will teach dads how to care for and some simple hairstyles their daughters can proudly wear to school. Each participant will also receive a goodie bag with a hairbrush and accessories to take home. 🎟️ What’s Included: Free beverage for every adult attending (both tickets) Goodie bag for dads participating in the haircare class Option to purchase additional food from the club’s restaurant if you’d like to stay for lunch and keep the conversations going 🚗 Plenty of parking available, and the venue is pram-friendly. Directions will be provided closer to the date. ➡️ Registration is essential – spaces for the Daddy-Daughter Haircare Class are limited and must be finalised by the 3/10/25. Join us as we re-launch our MBSA Multi-Meets. These free and casual events are aimed to build connection between parents and caregivers of multiples and their children. Committee members will be in attendance and are always keen for a chat, we've all got a lot of stories and are happy to share :)  The August Multi-Meet will be held upstairs in the East Mezzanine at Plant4 Bowden on Sunday the 31st of August between 9:30am and 12pm. The East Mezzanine is a large semi-private indoor space. There is also a large grassy area and playground outside if we are lucky enough to get some sunshine. MBSA will provide a coffee voucher for adult members and will provide light refreshments. Additional food is available for purchase at the many vendor stalls in Plant4. Friends are welcome, however non-member tickets are charged at $15 per family group. There is plenty of free parking around the site and there is lift access to the mezzanine. Detailed directions will be provided closer to the date. Registration is essential – select one ticket per family group. Please include the names of all adults and children attending. We can't wait to see you there!

Join us for a free dinner and drinks to connect with your MBSA committee and other members! The evening will include our Annual General Meeting at 7:30pm. This brief and informal meeting allows us to review the year that has been and welcome some new volunteers that make this multi community run. MBSA is a volunteer-run organisation. We love our events and helping our multi community, and it takes volunteers to keep this going. In 2025 we are particularly seeking expressions of interest for the following roles: President; Events Coordinator; Fundraising Coordinator; Co-Treasurer. To find out more about volunteering with us, contact our amazing President Louise Herbert (louise.herbert@multiplebirthsa.org.au) or come and ask questions on the night. The festive season is nearly upon us! And to celebrate the year that has been we're throwing a free party for our member multi familes 🎉 Join us at Lefevre Community Stadium for a HUGE day of family entertainment - plus free coffee of course We will have: Ready Steady Go Kids, Farmer Darcy's Travelling Farm, Face painting by Mad Hatterz, Soft play, Bouncy castles, Cool 4 Kids with a bubble and a music show, Messy play by Messy Bubs Adelaide South & West, Fire truck and a police car, Cosplay for a Cause roving characters, Giveaways and loads more! If you've been good, you might even see Santa as well and we'll have a professional photographer to capture that family Santa picture Hot dog van on site (you will need to pay for this) or BYO a picnic for your family. And if the weather is hot/raining/windy (who knows what it will be these days!), rest assured, we have a spacious and comfortably air-conditioned indoor stadium. Calling multi families to join us for a casual, evening catch up at The Suburban Brew Goodwood. Children welcome and there is a kids' corner for them to have a play in - or leave them at home for some adult conversation! Starting at 7pm, there will be a "Survey Says" quiz - which is a fun game akin to Family Feud so no need to brush up on recent sporting events or news. (Which is great news for us time poor parents and carers of twins, triplets or more!) We will have a table booked under MBSA. Drinks at your own expense and if you want to have dinner there's Reggie's Detroit Style Pizza serving their delicious pizza squares. RSVP by grabbing a free ticket to this event now, so we know if we need to reserve another table (or two). Hope to see you there!

Join us for a multiple birth specific information session about Starting School, followed by our Annual General Meeting (AGM) at 7:30pm. Our panel of teachers and multiple birth parents will discuss a variety of school preparation topics, including the pros and cons of whether to separate or keep your multiples together. There will be a chance to ask questions too of course. At 7:30pm our (very brief) AGM will commence where we review the year that has been and welcome some new volunteers that make this multi community run. If you are interested in finding out more about volunteering with us then please contact our amazing President Louise Herbert (louise.herbert@multiplebirthsa.org.au). 2023 marks 50 years of MBSA in all its forms. To mark this momentous milestone we are hosting a little get together in the South Parklands and we'd love you to come. There will be cake, free coffee from 10am - 11am, soft play for the little ones and the Glover playground for the bigger kids to run amok. This is where our original plaque commemorating 25 years of MBSA was laid, and we will be updating it to reflect our new milestone. We'd love to share this occasion with our members and supporters from past and present, so grab your free tickets and we will see you then :)
